Colleen Hanabusa for Congressional District 1

In 2010, UHPA endorsed Colleen Hanabusa for Congress because of her outstanding track record in Hawaii’s legislature.  She was able to collaboratively move legislation forward and, as a labor attorney, was wellacquainted with the challenges that face UH faculty in our collective bargaining efforts.  We believe she has represented the needs of Hawaii well during her first term in Congress and that she deserves our ongoing support to continue to make positive contributions for our state and our nation.
