“We must never lose sight of the importance of higher education in our society – a right to which we are all entitled, and to which we must all remain committed. Especially at a time when many choose to disengaged from participatory democracy and the collective understanding of our most critical issues has been boiled down to sound bites, a solid education is the only remedy that will allow us to collectively overcome the broader challenges that lay before us. It is up to our educational institutions to carry this burden and they deserve all the support we can provide them.”
